As a registered participant, you will receive a link and instructions for joining the DoCou shortly before the event.
Speaker: Prof. Dr. Bettina Hause (IPB, Dept. SZB)
In the beginning of the two-hour talk, the basics of light and fluorescence microscopy will be explained, followed by the description of the confocal modes used to create optical sections. Further, you will learn about how proteins can be localized in plant tissues by immune localization or fusions to fluorescent proteins and how protein interactions can be determined. The talk will finish with a short introduction into the high-resolution fluorescence microscopy developed in the last years.
